Souvenirs explores the concepts of locality and identity through architecture and architectural elements. The students initially mapped architectural monuments in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece, and subsequently transcribed them in order to create items / non-objects that could act as ‘super-local’ souvenirs; at the same time referring to the city’s history while through technology operating on a global scale.
